Well, maybe not late but just in time! I usually start planting around Mothers Day, but this year I took on way to many projects. I was beginning to think that I wouldn’t have time for a vegetable garden this year.
But as luck would have it, I found the time on the very same day I found our tiny 30 year old rototiller! It hadn’t been started in over 20 years!
It stared right up and ran just as good as the day we bought it! It pays to take good care of your gardening tools, or just don’t use them for 20 years. Lol!
There were a lot of weeds growing already, and the soil was hard and dry, but this little beast dug right through it!
I think it turned out pretty well! Now all that’s left to do is rake out the dead weeds, till in some organic fertilizer and compost, and then plant!
